Taking photos, videos or audio recordings

During your visit, we kindly ask that you do not take photos, videos, or audio recordings inside the hospital. This helps us protect the privacy of all patients, visitors, and staff.

Hospital entry and parking

Our reception, inpatient suite (ward) and day stay pick-up are located off Kensington Avenue.

There is accessible parking and a drop-off zone in front of reception. Additional parking can be found to the right of reception along the side of the building. Parking on the surrounding streets is free with unlimited timeframes.

Respiratory symptoms

Patients who are unwell with a respiratory illness such as COVID-19 or influenza at the time of their admission procedure date may be deferred.

If you have recently been unwell with COVID-19 or influenza, please contact our admissions team.

Admission support

During your admission, patients may be accompanied by friends, whānau members, or carers.

Your surgeon and anaesthetist will come and see you before your procedure.

Wi-Fi access

Free Wi-Fi is available for all patients and visitors.

Posters are displayed around our hospital that include log in details and passwords for your convenience.

Support person

On occasion, patients are accompanied by a support person throughout their stay. A patient’s support person may be:

  • A parent or guardian
  • A carer of a patient
  • Other – as agreed with the senior nurse on duty

If you require a support person to stay, indicate this on your admission form or speak to a member of our team.
